The Senate committee voted to advance their "landmark" gun bill.
I HATE that this happened. Why? Cuz it gives the GOP cover to say "see? SEE?? We DID SOMETHING. At the same time, it will have - at best - a minuscule impact on gun crimes.
This is a bad law. We are just taking what the NRA says we can get.

i read that part of the bill is to increase school security. so, we get closer to schools being built like prisons and armed to the hilt.
