The committee has complained Garland is not doing enough. Then,

Garland asked the committee for the evidence they had collected so he could move forward with his investigations. At first the head of the committee said, No.

How do you spell contradiction.

The J6 Committee wants their witnesses to feel somewhat comfortable with cooperation. After all of the testimony is given, we should expect that the Committee will hand everything over. Besides, the DOJ is the most capable agency in the world at gathering evidence. Don't short-sell them just because they don't get daily headlines. They quite likely have a lot more evidence than it appears.
