(86,765 posts)Louie Gohmert SAYS the US isn't praying enough.
Fixed it for ya.
(Hint: Louie Gohmert doesn't think at any time about anything. He can't, he doesn't know how.)

(12,673 posts)I also think he means his version of the US isn't preying enough on those he thinks shouldn't be considered human - like women, people that aren't white, his flavor of "Christian", people who are "too liberal" or "too uppity", and finally, the (deserving) poor.
If you don't follow his rules or belong to his social circles, you aren't a citizen of the US, you're just prey for the culling.

(6,202 posts)All the prayers in the world won't do a thing if the people mouthing the words aren't willing to back those prayers up with actions that support their prayers.
You have to actually believe in what you pray for, and act on your beliefs.
We have free will, and are responsible for our actions.
Pray to God for guidance, and strength, but do the work yourself.

(4,036 posts)the grief of crying of wives and children over their loss, families destroyed. Wishful thinking has never stopped those inflicted with incurable disease. Throughout the history of our planet, millions have died in conflict (as just one example) despite wishful thinking from those back home.
Gohmert is just another grifter looking for a mystical being to do what those who actually have the power to change things cant or wont accomplish. Apparently its easier to pass the buck to someone in outer space, rather than doing what you know can be done.

(1,666 posts)A control group that is told they wont be prayed for.
A group told they will be prayed for but arent.
A group prayed for but not told they were not prayed for.
A group told they are prayed for and are prayed for.
Lets see the results on if praying to the invisible sky fairy works.
