When was the last time the police, any police anywhere did anything heroic that you can remember. There is this myth that is the police. We just got a healthy slap in the face with what they really are. And newsflash, it's not just the police in Uvalde, TX

Are all cops heroes? No, clearly not. Some are in it for the paycheck and the pension when they retire. Some are in it because they enjoy throwing their weight around and dominating their fellow citizens via the power conferred by the badge. And some are in it for the right reasons and want to help and protect their communities.

The world is more nuanced than you seem to perceive. Not everything is black and white, and not all cops are cowards because the officers in Uvalde stood by while children were being killed.

Government appointed position to cause problems.

I'm so sick of these kinds of people in office. They don't have a different idea or opinion on how things should be run. They just grift off the public while hating their job, they don't bother to do.

They are inefficient on purpose, for their donors.

Show this to republicans. Don’t know if it will help. Have decided the vast majority republicans in congress are cold hearted and only care about themselves.

And here, the police stood there with their thumbs up each other's asses for more than an hour while 19 children DIED. Talk about a complete lack of honor, of humanity!

Once again the GOP and NRA have been very successful in changing the narrative away from the real problem…guns and focused it on the cops and the response to the shooting like they did with Columbine. Totally glossing over that there would have not been a shooting that needed a response if these AH would stop putting $$$ as more important then childrens lives.
