Greg Abbott is booed as he arrives at the memorial outside Uvalde Elementary.

Greg was stupid to show up at this event after telling the families that he was not going to do anything to fix this problem. Greg is an asshole and deserved to be booed

Joe Biden has no words for him but to change things in Texas, which he will not.

For he too is in the backpocket of the NRA.

His second election as governor was a little closer than the first time but it was still a solid win. To me he's always seemed kind of off-putting. Bush and Perry before him were both conservative but they could pull off "have a beer with" vibe. Abbott just comes off like a mean and vindictive asshole.

In 2014, GOP votes for Governor increased while votes for the Democratic candidates were down

The judge in the Texas voter id trial found that the Texas voter id law would affect between 600,000 registered and 1.4 million eligible voters. The above chart is consistent with this finding.

In the 2018 election, Greg faced a weaker candidate, Lupe Valdez, who had no funding. The party had tried hard to get one of the the Castro brothers to run for governor but they both refused (and burned some bridges with the state party in Texas).

Greg is a former toxic tort defense attorney whose job was to cheat widows and orphans. Greg and the attorneys in that section bragged about cheating widows and orphans.

showing how big and tough they are, now that they just have unarmed families to keep away from King Abbott of the NRA?

Someone else on that Twitter thread said that the cops must have been brought in from elsewhere since they weren't running away.

How any of those assholes, especially the chief, can even consider showing their faces in public right now, let alone on actual duty, is beyond me and truly disgusting. If I were a resident there, I'd be asking the mayor, council abd police chief why the hell forty percent of their budget, aka tax money, was going to the police.

Let the air out of his tires this November. Him and Cawthorn have totally embarrassed every person confined to wheel chairs portraying them as vindictive lying assholes. Cawthorn had a silhouette of a man in a wheel chair on all his posters, hoping for sympathy voters. He lost only because NC GQP went after him. They lost any sympathy. It was still close. You’d think Meadows would have WOKE these fools up. Nope, Cawthorn’s replacement is a blood sucking ass bug on trumps fat ass.

The money that came into his greedy hands from the NRA , was it worth all the collective heartache and dead bodies of the children and other innocents?
He sold out the people of Texas & couldn't care any less about the safety & wellbeing of it's citizens.
He should borrow Melania's coat with the message "I don't care do you?".

that allowed a murderous punk just past his 18th birthday to walk in and get a gun, no questions asked, no family contacted, no nothing.

These stupid asses like Abbott are blinded to the fact that it should be harder to buy deadly force than it is to buy a Big Gulp.

He's lucky they weren't throwing anything.
