but we NEED to politicize it. Why? Because there is no time when we're not mourning a mass shooting anymore. They come so quickly, that there is NEVER a time when there isn't one in the news.

That's why they say it, so that they never get called to account for the laws that they push.

Ted, it's like this:

The "gun issue" is not being politicized.
The focus is the issue, not the Party.
Specifically, the majority of Americans want gun control. Republicans are blocking legislation.
If the creed is "Don't elect Republicans," it isn't to campaign mindlessly, arbitrarily against Republicans per se.
It's to protest how Republicans vote when they are given the opportunity.
It isn't partisan.
It's humanitarian and Republicans lack the spine to stand up to a minority of a minority of Americans.
