Barnette marchin' with the Proud Boys (?)

This with her statements being anti-muslim and anti-BLM, one wonders if she is just into performance art like so many GZP. They don't stand for anything, they don't believe in anything.

She is mocking MSNBC this morning for calling her a white supremacist. If you march with dogs, you will pick up fleas.

but this crazy talk stuff seemed to start after the Koch's created their astroturf teabaggers, and then accelerated into the extremes after the 2016 election.

I am a multi-generational Pennsylvanian and have been from border to border (even camping in "the middle part" - Carlisle) and there have always been what I call "annoying Republicans", but not this loon crap.

The hardcore rightwing fringe in PA embracing a black woman just underscores a point that I've had for a while which is:

A lot of what is often called racism is really culturalism.

They're fine with people of other skin colors as long as they talk like them, think like them, dress like them, and go to the same kind of church.

Yes, there are real racists on the right, just a lot fewer than you might think.

If you remove the highly charged and often divisive "politics" topic out of a conversation, most people will talk about "common ground" subjects.

Every year I watch the PA Farm Show and watch the "sheep to shawl" competition and watch the Brown Brothers do their tractor pulls (I blame my BIL for suggesting that ). I've been out to Lancaster County a number of times and always get my "authentic" shoofly pie. I went up to the Kutztown Folk Festival back in 2014 and bought all kinds of stuff. Hell, I almost went to Penn State but decided instead to go to UMASS for college almost 45 years ago.

It's just sad to see the type of divisiveness that "society" has allowed to be "expressed" in the last 20 years.

with the "out loud" crazy talk. The poison spewed from Faux and RW talk radio helped to fuel this.
