Lewis Black had a skit a while back about the oldest man in NYC who ate only white bread cooked in grease from fatback bacon and three gallons of Thunderbird each week.

He liked fatback because bacon was too lean.

You just don't know!

the oldest verified person ever is 122.

She's claiming to beat that by 6 years.

I remember a few years ago the oldest person in the world died and it was of note because, at that time, it was the last person on Earth to be VERIFIED as being born in the 1800s.

If this is legit, we still having a living 1800s person!

Once you turn 108 or so, the local media starts noticing. Once you turn 114, the entire world notices.

Plus, the woman who supposedly lived to be 122, is now thought to have actually been the daughter of that woman.

There's a lot of fraud in extreme old age claims. Or, perhaps I should say a lot of exaggerating about how old someone is, especially when there's not good records.

It's pretty much been debunked that the 122 year old was the daughter. But I agree with your first statement. I doubt she's 128. Maybe 108.
