Sarcastic thoughts while reading a letter to the editor

From that letter

Few things will debilitate a woman quite like the paralyzing financial toll of having to feed another child, perhaps without child support (though she could swear he was there nine months ago actively participating); few things will debilitate a woman quite like having to leave her career because child care expenses are extravagant and cost far more than her expertise (under)pays her for..

But, I thought, sarcastically, you are not expected to keep the child, especially if both are white. Justice Barrett suggested such during the initial presentations, and even if the Alito footnote did not talk about "domestic supply of infants" no doubt the thoughts were there.

There’s an emotional cost everyone connected to that child pays when that happens. It amazes me that people who purport to care about children talk about them like livestock. I swear they are the people who would throw a sack of kittens off a bridge.
