Fuck the right wing and their ridiculous, dangerous, anti woman agenda.

(40,212 posts)There is no such procedure. If there was, then doctors would do it. It simply doesn't exist. An ectopic pregnancy is NEVER viable.

(17,863 posts)abortion restrictions and let the state mandate play out. I am surprised it hasn't happened to a Catholic hospital yet. A patient parks herself in the emergency room and demands treatment and refuses to go to another hospital while having a demonstrated ability to pay.
On the other hand we may eventually get to where there are no leaks except to a foreign country if you can get out.

(1,308 posts)I was standing in line at a bank (1979ish) in NYC and all of a sudden I felt this horrible pain and fainted. They called an ambulance and I was taken to the nearest hospital. Since it was just a faint, they put me on a gurney and left me in a hallway. After about 30 minutes of waiting I looked at my stomach and saw that it was ballooning. Gigantic. I screamed and pointed at it. All hell broke loose. They took me to surgery and put me under.
When I woke up I was told I had an ectopic pregnancy. They removed the Eustachian tube it was stuck in and sewed me back up.
I was damn lucky. I did not know I was pregnant.
A HERETIC I AM
(24,370 posts)That must have been terrifying.
Im glad you were able to get the proper medical care you needed.
I fear for women in this country if liberals and progressives are not able to turn this incredibly scary tide.

(1,308 posts)They assumed I didn't have health care but still took good care of me.
Still in the hospital a couple of days later, someone came in and I could
tell it was more like an accountant type and I immediately said that
I had insurance (good insurance) and offered to give them my card.
They were very happy to be paid.
Everyone should have good insurance. It's a human right.

(24,370 posts)More that the caregiver relates how the seriousness of this womans condition presented itself in very short order.
And I should add the writer mentions how the life saving procedure that was performed could be criminalized if the right wingers have their way.

(25,379 posts)to realize this.....
Texas will still allow treatment, but still it's the culture of everything and fear of vigilantes that doctors face.
I think men should have a pregnancy in their urethra and see how they like it!
