Greene used her congressional account to tweet the baseless accusation that GOP Sens. Lisa Murkowski (Alaska), Susan Collins (Maine) and Mitt Romney (Utah) are pro-pedophile because they said will vote to confirm Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court. During Jacksons Senate confirmation hearings, GOP lawmakers falsely accused Brown of being lenient when it came to cases involving child porn.

(6,933 posts)Is this the litmus test for politicians in 2022?
Of course it is, thats why Republicans created Sophies choice type legislation in the 1990s forcing Democrats to choose criminal justice or TV vigilante justice. If a legislator voted against draconian punishments for all sexual crimes regardless of severity, it was a campaign black mark.
Of course it leads to Republicans even targeting other Republicans as pedophiles. You cant make this stuff up.

QAnon[a] (/ˈkjuː.əˌnɒn/) is a political conspiracy theory that later evolved into a political movement. It originated in the American far-right political sphere. QAnon centers on false claims made by an anonymous individual or individuals known as "Q". They claim that a cabal of Satanic, cannibalistic sexual abusers of children operating a global child sex trafficking ring conspired against former U.S. President Donald Trump during his term in office. Some experts have described QAnon as a cult.

(846 posts)The Qnut forums right now are full of pedophile insanity one thread the other day said the Russians liberated 10 million children from secret tunnels in Ukraine. And then of course all the secret bio labs. But that is just scratching the surface of stupid.
Had to take a break from reading them with all the pro Russia insanity.
I think there is a mental illness factor in a lot of the Qcult

Biden's laptop, the words in Tucker Carlson's mouth, the pro Putin side of the war in Ukraine, and the
QAnon gibberish from M.T. Greene so much of it is from Russian and or is amplified by Russia in order to
weaken the United States by "ginning up the crazies." Putin/FSB have been conducting a war on America
for years. Both Trump and Fox News have been willing workers in this nasty business.
Russian-backed organizations amplifying QAnon conspiracy theories, researchers say (2020 article)
SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Russian government-supported organizations are playing a small but increasing role amplifying conspiracy theories promoted by QAnon, raising concerns of interference in the November U.S. election.

(82,849 posts)They haven't uttered a peep about the wild accusations thrown around by Rep. Greene and her ilk. But when she turned hose on their own, Republicans suddenly remember to be outraged about false, inflammatory accusations that might just set off some well-armed nutjob somewhere.
