My Phone has rung off the hook today! More calls than I've had in a long time.

Caller ID tells me that 100 % of them have been "unknown caller" or "name not identified" or from 305-000-0000. Any bets on what most of these calls are about? Hmmm, lemme see?? What COULD they be?

FYI: Not one of them has been answered...thanks to CALLER ID. Best thing EVER.

15 dollar answering machine. Set it to 4 rings.

When it is finally "picked up", they get a recording.

I usually have few messages.

And, since Mrs. ZBDent is "physically challenged", friends and family know that, even if we're home, we might not be able to "rush to the phone", and if it's someone we know, we will pick up.

My brother (when not in RW mode) jokingly would say "Hey, it's your brother ... pick uuuuupppp theeeee phooooone ..." in a sarcastic voice. Usually, when I have the phone in hand, I pick it up well before he gets to that.

I also got push-polled earlier in the day by Americans for Prosperity and got half a dozen giant anti-Obama mailers today. Sheesh...can't wait until November 7th to celebrate the end of campaign ads.
