4. I like this guy. I saw apost somewhere that he was saying goodbye to the EU and the US

Making it sound like he didnít think heíd survive. As to the paratroop plane, do armies still use paratroopers? Always seems like helicopters are better, and I know Russia has a lot of helicopters. Iíve read of several Russian planes being shot down.

5. Yep! Definitely still a thing.

When I was in the military a couple years back, our paratroopers would be seen training jumping out of planes regularly at the base I drilled at.

7. Or even what was inside of them...

Could have been equipment instead of people.

8. Helicopters and planes each have their place

Helicopters fly lower and slower than planes, and so they are easier to shoot down with man-portable anti aircraft weapons. The United States provided Stinger missiles to the Afghan's in the 1980s and the Afghans gave the Soviet helicopters a lot of grief using them.

9. Wow, if this

is true, that could be major. That is a very large, heavy lift aircraft. If it was loaded with troops, the numbers will be pretty high.

10. Apparently more than a thousand Russian troops have already been killed.

At this rate, their entire invading force will be wiped out in a few months if Ukraine can hold it's ground.
