everyone I know is pissed at anti-vaxxers. I think it helps us in midterms.

"Can you imagine how great it would be if everyone would just get vaccinated?" We could go out, see our friends, eat in restaurants, go to games and events. But no.

It is all I hear these days. If omicron was/is the end of it, there might be no effect but if this continues to November? Even the shit going on in sweet Canada is going to piss off democrats, independents and other thinking humans.

And "legitimate political discourse? That will piss people off too.

It will be a revenge vote. And more of us will vote than those who believe their vote will not be counted.

7. My dumbass neighbors all believe the bull crap Fox is spewing--and I live in L.A.

So do some friends of ours we went out with last weekend.
So there are a lot more people who believe that bull crap than you think.

Too many people watch Fox "News." I think that is the problem. That station needs to be removed from society.

see the Fairness Doctrine reinstated. That'd be the end of Fox news.

11. How do "we" handle it? Do the rest of the media have to give equal time to right wing shit?

Can you imagine Rachel being required to give half her show to presenting the GOP position that the election was stolen?

And if she gives it lip service, won't Tucker do the same with the truth?

She and most good reporters can handle that. The major news handled it for years and didn't go out of business.
It would only put Fox and the other like them out of business. They can't argue lies.

back in the good old days, the GOP was not overtaken by the John Birch Society. LBJ thought the way to get rid of McCarthy was to put the hearings on TV and the American people will be disgusted. It apparently worked. It obviously would not work now.

We are too far gone for the "fairness doctrine". "The other side" does not believe in truth and want autocracy. I don't think they can be swayed.

12. Fox is reviled by a LOT of the more hardcore wingnuts.

They hate them for calling Arizona for Biden on election night, and for some of their less-than-hardcore reporting on some issues that they feel are core to the reich-wing. Fox is not nearly 'conservative' enough for them.

Freeperville is loaded with them.

This is the crowd that only watches OANN, and sometimes Newsmax.

By a large margin, those dying from COVID are anti-vaxxers. By a large margin, anti-vaxxers are Republican voters. It's really happening.

It could be a no-mask rally or an anti-vaxxers' party that determines the outcome of many elections.

So, before you go in, call your local Democratic Party to see who they are supporting for those elections. Those are important too.
