the more I hear about Meta - the more I want to delete Facebook and Instagram and find alternatives or just forget social media.

I mean, I look Oh-k for my age, and I get tons of LIKES for a selfie, but I just prefer time with people without the BS lately. Well we all do chat, facetime or whatev, but I don't need FB/etc for that.

I mean, come on! We're 70 years old now, we graduated high school in 1969. We were the ones who marched against the Vietnam War, and now they're rooting for Chump? Not all of them, but it was depressing how many of them were. I decided I just didn't want to know. Quit Facebook, deleted my account, done with that.

I don't get why so many people that were around in the 60s or even back during WW2 can't recognize that what they were fighting against then is what Rump is!

Why is that?

I mean my aunt and uncle, my mentors for a lot of stuff, are not Cons.

and worked on civil rights issues in the 60s. Most of those who did are still involved in progressive politics. The others are still conservatives, just as they were then. There are still plenty of us old hippies who are still active in the same areas.

But, we were never a majority. Never.

We have a built-in bias for believing that what we think is shared by more people than actually share it.

We associated with like-minded people at the time, and ignored those around us who didn't share our views.

Now, as the decades have passed, we forget even better about all those who didn't agree with us.

Oh, well...

So Nick was right, about conservatives always having the tendency to lean toward Fascism, huh.

He's usually right.

He was right about Disco after all. ha I've listened to 60s music and 70s on Spotify. 60s and 80s were so much better than 70s mostly.

they're all extremely volatile crap shoots where you put up your money and hope the market doesn't crash before you can make a profit and get out.

And they will crash. It's for those with money to throw away...foolishly.

Go to OSGrid, Trondheim region.

Runs on an inexpensive server sitting next to me.

Aviworlds.com has free land parcels for beginners.
