The 'Blizzard' of January 2022

Looks like it really didn't happen here in New Haven, CT. Maybe three inches on the ground. Supposed to stop around 7PM and it's not coming down hard now. Seems it will just be a minor storm where I am. Somebody must have had some real snow. Glad it's not here.

Sharp cutoffs are not uncommon in these storms, but I expected New Haven to get at least 6-7 inches.

I'm of the opinion at this point (without running local numbers for 30 years as I have no idea how to) that seasonal weather patterns are 'shifting' to later in the year. I'm in MO, and 30 years ago, it was COLD by Nov 15.
This year, on christmas eve it was 45 degrees out, and it wont get real 'winter cold' here till feb 1st..

When I was a kid, first week of march was 'spring warmer'. Now, that wont happen till at least 2 weeks later.

and even occasionally November. Now that never happens, and the cold does last later.
