WAY tired of the jingoism/exceptionalism/etc. that came to the fore after 9/11...prior to that Take Me Out to the Ballgame was the song of choice, now it is God Bless America.

P.S. I vote for changing the militaristic Star-Spangled Banner to America the Beautiful for our national anthem--who is with me?

The only people who do TMOTTB right are drunken Cubs fans (I'm a Brewers fan, but I miss Harry, and I miss Ron Santo)

The only acceptable 7 I.S. tunes in modern America should be:

Roll Out the Barrel (see other post on this important subject)
God Bless America (I went there, dammit!)
