(165 posts)What a blow-hard. If the democrats even suggested something like this, he'd be the first to call them communists and anti-business.

(31,706 posts)Sheesh! This dude really loves to hear himself ramble...and revises his own history just as bad as Willard. He claims he is "one of booosh's biggest critics"...now let's check the transcript. IRC he voted FOR boooshes wars for profit and draconian "Patriot Act" when he was a congresscritter. He claims to be a populist cause he was drummed out of the hierarchy of his own corrupt and inept party. The hypocrisy this shitstain spews is typical of today's wingnuts...never taking responsibility for the messes they created and ready to make more. Sadly I have this creeping feeling lately this country is just stupid enough to let that happen...

(63,912 posts)Joe looked foolish and merely argumentative. It's what happens to Joe when he gets mad. He loses control of the conversation and people are turned off. The guy can't hold his tongue. He has to start blustering. Remnick pushed back in a calm, but very effective, way...

(2,730 posts)I remember him doing the impeachment proceedings of President Clinton. He is always a pessimist. I think we will survive and have seen worse days since I've been living. He was complaining when Bush or Reagan was running up the Debt or about unemployment. I'll tell him Bush created the Debt. If he wants to know what President Obama will do about the Debt, then read his book. It is that simple. He just don't like what is in it. Here is what's in it:
President Obama ended the War in Iraq. That was on Scarborough's credit card. That debt is eliminated.
President Obama will eliminate another expenditure on Scarborough's credit card. It is called the war in Afghanistan. That debt will be crossed out.
President Obama will eliminate the Bush Tax cuts for the wealthy. That is also on Scarborough's credit card.
President Obama wants to pass his Jobs plan which will put people back to work. More people back to work and more expenditures to the Government in taxes. Unemployment will be cut further and less people needing government assistance, ie unemployment benefits and food stamps. The jobs recovery act also provides for rebuilding the infrastructure of the United States. Why didn't he do this in the first term? Easy answer, the obstruction right wing Republican Party that Scarborough endorsed. In other words, Joe is responsible for Gridlock and the Fiscal Cliff he is complaining about. He is the last person to complain. He made the mess and now he is complaining.

(26,060 posts)the trivia that has overtaken the campaign. Whining about how neither side is talking about ideas and I wanted to throw something. He was speaking as if the media didn't have EVERYTHING to do with it. They obsess over "you didn't build that", moronic claims of apology tours, whether Bill is campaigning only to help Hillary. THEY are the ones who turned this into a dumbed down reality series and now Joe is trying to blame the campaigns. Such a schmuck.

(34,376 posts)scenarios with Katty Kay from BBC. WTF is Katty Kay?
leftynyc
(26,060 posts)I've sent several emails requesting it. I do happen to like Katty Kay - she's a BBC correspondent and usually doesn't get into the stupid. I think it's much more likely that Pres Obama will win the electoral college and lose the popular vote than a tie in the college.

(2,730 posts)Scarborough comes off as a bully to his guests when he don't agree with them. Reverand Al seemed kinda tentative. I would have told Scarorough and Chuckie the truth about Ohio. It is not tied or even close. Romney is in trouble because of his decision on the car industry and outsourcing jobs. he is trying to explain himself because the president helped Ohio. That is why Ohio's unemployment rate is better than the national average. In the real votes that count in Ohio which is early voting, Obama is up 54-32. I would also let them know what is really going on in North Carolina on the ground. It is the same in the early vote in North Carolina where Romney is still fighting hard there.

(10 posts)When they asked what Rev. Al was hearing on the ground in Ohio, he answered that a lot of people were expressing a concern about the voting machines Romney's son owns. Both Chuck and Todd DRAMATICALLY started laughing at him and shaking their heads, like "what ridiculous conspiracy theories will the Left come up with next?"
These are the same people, incidentally, that devoted precious HOURS of air time that could have gone to informing voters about real issues on Jack Welch's ramblings about unemployment statistics, and birther theories.
Heaven forbid some raise a valid point about the machines that are being used in what they are all telling us is the most important state in this race.
They disgust me.
And Reverend Al - keep talking about it! Let them know we're on to them - make them fear a thorough review of any voting abnormalities. And keep making this point: We know what they're capable of - look what they are doing with voter fraud, voter suppression, hiring known criminals to run their voter mis-education efforts and destroy Democratic registrant applications. Look what they did with voter ID laws across the country.
If this is what they do in the light of day, just imagine what they are capable of under the cover of darkness. Imagine what they will do to win it ALL, if they thought no one could ever prove they cheated and rigged the machines.
