I suspect this tweet's emphasis on racism as a major driver of RW insanity is overemphasized. Racism and xenophobia are big factors among the many underlying the fear and antipathy toward liberalism, and racism is particularly strong for some.
But what about all the other many, giant fears fueling the right's giant backlash, like anxiety and rejection of the huge, constant changes to their personal lives and worlds 
, fear of the future of work including fear of climate change and that hoards of foreign migrants will accelerate all personal changes , rage at the constant losses on cultural and religious issues hugely important to them , including women's roles in society and men's , all other eternal cultural and political bonfire issues, even turning their churches into places of dissention. Resentment toward all they've always felt despise them unjustly. Anxiety at not belonging in their own country, and their political party imploding in corrupt chaos.
Kind of a lot going on with them. And we're insanely insist on making it all worse. Democrats. Liberals.
Covid misinformation & the antivax movement crosses the political divide.
And there's a faction of so called self identifying "leftists" who are very antivax and very outspoken & loud about it.
Podcasters like Jimmy Dore, Kim Iverson, Fiorella Isabella, Max Blumenthal, and others are some of the biggest sheepdogs with moving people to a anti-intellectual mindset where public health, vaccines, & humanity are wrong.
In fact, Jimmy Dore & others have been posting their "antivax" videos on video hosting site "Rumble". A site dedicated to being a YouTube alternative aimed at the far right which of course means the "antivax movement". Why? The answer is simple.
YouTube would immediately ban them for posting the content which they do on Rumble. And keep in mind that there's more to this.
Rumble is financed by literal white nationalist fascist billionaire Peter Thiel who is also an antivaxer. Do you know who else finances Rumble? JD Vance. And the amount of money to be made from antivaxers is a big business. They see this as a business opportunity to pad their wallets by peddling outrage to antivaxers who then donate money to their monetized channels.
However, YouTube is also a problem because the way that Dore & others do their videos there is very specific; they exploit the rules to their advantage. What they do is push the the envelops in an "antivax adjacent" sense. They teeter on the edge knowing what they do won't get them banned. This little loophole desperately needs to be closed.

If you are on Twitter and see stuff like this, I beg of you to please report it for Covid misinformation immediately. There's a war going on and Covid misinformation literally kills. It has to end.
