Had two unmasked assholes in my doctors waiting room bitching about government overreaction to covid this week. The policy for this St. Vincent clinic is everyone must wear a mask. The girl at the check in window gave both of them a mask to wear and one said he was not worried about catching covid because when the good lord is ready to take me he will. The girl at the window said she agrees. So now they both sit down in the busy waiting room holding not wearing their masks and whine about the government.

But some nurses have said pretty much the same thing, so…

I am noticing since my state Oregon still has mask mandate, my conservative town Medford is starting to have more disobey. From the beginning the sheriffs said they wouldn't do anything so basically left it up to the stores to police and I think stores are tired of it.

I will say though considering it is a conservative area most still wear masks, I am just starting to see more rebel against it.

that roughly half in our ruralish county are vaccinated and presumably haven't decided they should resume masking yet. Expect that to change fast.
