(47,419 posts)The bad examples in life serve to make us acknowledge and appreciate all the things and people that are good. I made a conscious effort to not raise my children the way she did. Now I'm seeing that pay off with my grandchildren.

(7,911 posts)I remember it well. Sadly, I was not able to find it on YouTube. It was a memorable episode. The upshot was that Freddie the Freeloader performed a public service by being someone that parents could point out to their children as a warning. Like all the Freedie the Freeloader episodes, it was very heartwarming.
