1. Here is the sad truth about the above meme.

To motivate Democrats and "fence sitters", the Democrats have to accomplish a good deal of their stated goals. That big list form BBB is difficult to accomplish and the Republicans can just obstruct and talk about how Democrats "do nothing".


To motivate Republicans they just have to keep hitting out at Big Bird and the "woke mob". Then they have to suppress the desire of others to go out and vote by putting into the media mainstream how Democrats aren't getting anything done, which the media will gladly help with since conflict and chaos sells.


More needs to be done.

2. A successful BBB means nothing to them

In fact, most Rethugs I know only complain about the price tag of it and refuse to acknowledge that all this spending is WAY overdue.

3. Correct. Except I was talking about motivating respective bases of voters.

If you look at my post again, I said that to motivate Democrats and fence sitters, Democrats need to produce results that better their constituents' lives.

Republicans' lives will also get better, but as you say, they will not care and will focus on anything negative to justify their allegiance to a party that does absolutely nothing for them.

The meme is accurate, but it doesn't matter what Democrats want to do and are trying to do, it is what we actually do that will motivate other Democrats and independents to vote for Democrats.

Republicans don't have that same problem since they are the anti-government party. All they need to do is keep stoking up fear and disenchantment.
