I just knew she wanted to just laugh out loud in her best laugh, but decorum kept her quiet. She would have been laughing because she was happy.

Haven't heard that great robust laugh of hers for a while.

And of course, the content ...

I bet he put fear into a lot of Republican politicians!!! He is showing the country who he REALLY is, not the befuddled weak socialist caricature they make of him!!!!

It's hard for me to understand why anybody would dislike this obviously decent man?

I think he wants Kamila to succeed him in office. He is the perfect bridge from TFG's nightmare to a more progressive and wonderful USA.

Here's to success!

My only guess is that the deplorables dislike him because he is everything they are not.

He is the pure definition of a decent man.

My sister is a churchgoing Catholic and she hates him! I will never understand it.

It was fun! The President has quite an off the cuff sense of humor. I enjoy the spontaneous answers he gives to reporters. And also, at the end when Joe and Kamala are exiting, he pauses to let her go first, and she gets him to go first, and she follows him out. That seemed spontaneous and respectful.

treating someone else with respect.

In "the Scent of a Woman" Pacino says, "I don't open your door because you're a woman, I do it because I'm a man".

President Biden has that ingrained in his spirit, and boy, it's so good to be able to type "President Biden"

It was so honestly passionate!

but so what? His heart is in the right place. Compare to TFG.

I hope we can get a list of all the worst bridges in this country that will receive attention first.

Dems need to loudly tout this accomplishment. And it was a little bipartisan.

What a difference ihaving a seasoned professional in the Oval makes! (As we’ve seen, the presidency is no place for someone lacking experience in elected office.) I’m very proud of our president and what he’s managed to accomplish in less than a year while facing the most difficult circumstances, and can’t wait to see what he accomplishes next. Go Joe!

The link posted above didn't work for me (not enough volume for my wonky ears), so I went looking and found one I can hear just fine.

Thanks, NBC News!
