The Republican Party, politically, is not being held responsible for Jan 6th. Maybe if there is a politician from a swing state who was involved, it might hurt them. The Democratic Party is being held responsible for the current state of the economy and the pandemic. The only good thing, is that things are going to get better. Covid seems to be coming under control and that will help the ecoomy. If the Dems can get the infrastructure bills passed, people will benefit, and the Republicans will not be able to stop themselves from trying to repeal them like they tried to repeal the ACA.
