(81,794 posts)I gave these schmucks money when they were campaigning. So I feel like I'M at fault here, too.
I trusted them. They BOTH betrayed me. And I WILL NOT be donating to either of their campaigns EVER AGAIN.

(81,794 posts)Leave a message if thats all that can be done. Doubtful you can expect a real live human to answer the phone. But they take notice of how many calls are coming in and on which topics. If theres something that starts to be pretty glaring, itll be gee, theres about 3 to 6 calls about x or y issue, but so far Ive counted 132 on z. Make sure he/she knows

Manchin's what he's always been and said he was. He's very well known by now to WVans who've paid attention.

Even if she only serves one term, she gets a pension to add to her lobbyist paycheck.

(95,390 posts)Manchin has been a Democrat for decades, including serving as Governor. Hes just not as liberal as folks here like.

(58,785 posts)Democrats who voted for him. He's liberal on some issues, but as you say not as left as all of us would like, and my guess is never beyond the 80M-voter liberal Democratic electorate -- as a few would like.
