Roll call vote of every representative on Bannon contempt referral vote on October 21, 2021

https://clerk.house.gov/evs/2021/roll329.xml (opens just fine in a regular web browser like Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox, Opera, etc)

220 Democrats voted in favor (100% of we Democrats)
9 Republicans voted in favor (4% of voting Republicans)

0 Democrats voted against (0% of we Democrats)
202 Republicans voted against (95% of Republicans)

1 Republican did not vote for some reason ( Greg Pence from 6th District of Indiana, no idea if he is related to ex-VP Pence. ETA: As noted in the thread, he is the brother of ex-VP Pence.)

Totals: 220 Democrats voted. 211 Republicans voted. One Republican (see above) did not vote.

I wonder why this Pence guy did not vote. Cowardice or another reason ?

100% of Democrats in favor of regular House functioning and democracy. Only 4% of Republicans in favor of regular House functioning and democracy. Pretty easy to see which party is the PRO-democracy party.

1. Greg Pence is Mike's brother.

If being a chickenshit runs in families, that would explain why he didn't vote.

11. Mace is from SC

Mace: She might be a member of the boot-licking TrumPublican party, but that vote took some guts. She will have a primary challenger now, no doubt. Someone more insane and fascist. The one thing in her favor is that her district (First CD) takes in Charleston.

Katko is from the Syracuse NY area.

Fitzpatrick is from Bucks and Montgomery counties PA, 1st congressional district.

Meijer is from Grand Rapids, MI area.

Upton is from the Kalamazoo, MI area.

Cheney, we all know her.

Kinzinger, we all know him.

Herrera Beutler is from the southwestern WA state area.

After this vote, sadly for democracy, most of these people might be voted out in favor of more insane fascists.

4. Greg Pence is the brother of former VP Mike Pence

Very interesting that he didn't vote, isn't it.

17. Leaning way over to give them a whitewash. A favorite Pence stance - butt up.

15. I wonder whether he was too scared of TFG and his base to vote for contempt, but

couldn't quite bring himself to vote against the work of the committee that's trying to investigate the people who wanted to hang his brother.

5. I'm glad at least several Pubs voted for holding Bannon in contempt. At least it wasn't total

party line. As for Greg Pence, e seems to have voted as negatively as he could. He could have voted weith all the other Pubs & didn't. To me, that means he wasn't with them.

16. Surely from these results and the alleged crime we cam assume that the rest of the House GOP

really do not like our democracy...and most likely no other form of democratic governance.
