CBS News is reporting that a drone filmed a good portion of the Benghazi Consulate Attack

Does anyone have any other info?

CBS News has been told that, hours after the attack began, an unmanned Predator drone was sent over the U.S. mission in Benghazi, and that the drone and other reconnaissance aircraft apparently observed the final hours of the protracted battle.

The State Department, White House and Pentagon declined to say what military options were available. A White House official told CBS News that, at the start of the attack, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Martin Dempsey and Defense Secretary Leon Panetta "looked at available options, and the ones we exercised had our military forces arrive in less than 24 hours, well ahead of timelines laid out in established policies."

But it was too late to help the Americans in Benghazi. The ambassador and three others were dead.

A White House official told CBS News that a "small group of reinforcements" was sent from Tripoli to Benghazi, but declined to say how many or what time they arrived.

5. If they can identify and locate them, they need to take 'em out no matter when it is.

Most reasonable people will be happy we got 'em, and won't give sh*t how close it is to the election.

Lets hope that if they are identified, we will not make any errors. But make no mistake about it, right now there is a lot of pressure to"kill somebody"... I am quite sure that that pressure is a 1,000,000 time LESS in this administration than in any other recent one including Clinton's. But there has to be somebody in the political operation saying what we are saying: sure would be great for many reasons if we wacked some or all of the scum who killed our men...

9. Better to send in Special Forces teams to kill the people that were responsible up close.

We have CIA there and Libyans that would be willing to help. Drone strikes would be counter-productive in this case.

Which is interesting because in the weeks-months-years after 9/11 they were right there with the rest of the MSM feeding the plebes jingoism and later, bloodlust for war with Iraq.

But hey why let fairness in reporting get in the way of a good double standard.
