I see that posted a lot.
It was the DOD who has been lying for multiple administrations. Both R and Ds
The military has said for many years that the Afghan Army could stand on its on. It collapsed in two weeks.
And once again we have servicemen and women dying, trying to help people. Saving them from the people who will line them up in the soccer stadium again.
Thats who to blame. Theyve been doing this since before Trump or President Biden

Stephen Miller murdered those military troops, and many civilians who only tried to help us.
I listened to Deep State podcast last night, and the young woman named Troy, who worked in the V.P. Office explained it all.

(27,948 posts)When can we start charging SA and all of the oil exporting states in Arabian Gulf the $500Billion/year to provide the USN for getting their product to market? What? The price of gas will go up? Cool. That will help expedite the move to renewable energy.

(96,882 posts)I was listening to a discussion with Jason Kander (Afghan war vet; former D Secretary of State in Missouri). His view is that the military and the Government had to continually talk up the Afghan Government to keep the collapse from happening years ago, with the hope that the Government would eventually stabilize..

(2,679 posts)It could also be that the Afghan War was won in the first year by Special Operations and the CIA.
And the DOD conventional units decided to get in on it because its a new combat zone. Then use the same tactics of the road bound Russians, who were defeated.

Ask him about the tactical decisions to put only road bound units. And FOBs and COPs in such locations that only airborne or air assault units could deal with it,
