(5,724 posts)They like country music, but they are also big heavy metal fans.
They also like monster trucks and harleys, but really dont care for tattoos, beards and long hair. They want pot legal, but want to blame progressives for legalizing it.
Why they waver and many times contradict themselves, I do not know.
I wish they could make up their minds!

(20,220 posts)but Gene is certainly conservative about everything in but sleeping around.
Don't forget Johnny Ramone. He was a right wing gun nut.

(2,608 posts)TS got a lot of mileage from knowing teen psychology and creating songs to appeal to them that way (my opinion of the songs that got airplay).
But their last album had a song that to me let everyone in on the joke and I only heard it once.
Anyone know what the song was?

(11,688 posts)And his dissing of Don the Con, when in the past they had a friendly relationship, was great. He was also close to Alice Cooper, even saw A.C. as sort of a rocker-n-roll mode. And, they came to exchange a few words. But otherwise, they are friendly.
Dee does seem more on our side, but as I say he considers himself a Libertarian. This is DU, and I am a progressive Democrat. I will take Dee's point on Orgenatan now but will not be surprised if in the future he takes a stance outside what is generally espoused here.
