I am not familiar with him or his credentials to analyze the pandemic or predict the behavior of the virus.
It is not that I do not recognize the relevance of his prospective, I just want to understand
the authority with which he speaks. Thanks.

I think he's basically an analyst. He links to various medical experts in his thread so isn't just making stuff up. I saw his thread as it was quoted by an MD who I respect on twitter.
