I've never had my vote for Congress count since.

Delay gerrymandered my district strictly for Mike McCaul.

From what I heard this morning, and when that happened, there's no authority to act outside TX. And it's not a crime, so there's no provision for extradition. It is a rule violation, and should be referred to as "detain" not "arrest". It's not up to Gov. Asshole no matter how much chest-thumping he's been doing. The TX House Speaker has to order them detained at the capitol.

They were subject to arrest, but Texas law enforcement doesn't have jurisdiction in Oklahoma.

In that case, our minority was a little smaller and it only took one returning Democrat (John Whitmire) to meet the quorum requirement. It took about six weeks.
