Christian preacher celebrates fatal accident at Florida Pride "f*g" parade

"I would love it if every f*g would die right now."

By Bil Browning Tuesday, June 22, 2021

Jonathan Shelley, pastor of the Stedfast Baptist Church in Hurst, Texas, celebrated a fatal accident at the Wilton Manors, Florida Pride parade last weekend. An elderly driver accidentally drove into the parade, killing one and injuring two others. “I think only one person died,” he told congregants. “So hopefully we can hope for more in the future.”

After listing off a litany of sins, Shelley told parishioners, “it is going beyond just saying you do all this wicked stuff. It’s saying you enjoy it. You enjoy murder. You enjoy malignity. You enjoy hating God.”

“Look, there’s only one group that enjoys that: It’s the Pride parades going up and down the street,” he said. “And, you know, it’s great when trucks accidentally go through those, you know, parades. I think only one person died. So hopefully we can hope for more in the future.”

“You say, ‘Well, that’s mean.’ Yeah, but the Bible says that they’re worthy of death! You say, ‘Are you sad when fags die?’ No, I think it’s great!”

Louie Gohmert “mistakenly” gave $5500 to awful “death to gays” hate pastor
The preacher made international headlines in 2016 after a video went viral that showed him praising the Pulse nightclub shooter.

be caught in a hotel with a prostitute (male, female or one of each) and drugs or be found with child porn on his church computer. What an awful person he is. Preachers like him tend to have lots of secrets.

That urged us to care for the least of us, to think of each other as brother and sister, to treat others the way we would want to be treated if we were in their position.

I might just go for something like that.

Can't even spell the name of your own church correctly.

Bunch of hate-filled, evil, drooling morons...

Not a single thing biblical in that message. He's one of those false teachers. I hope some of his congregation got up and walked out.

Here is the list of things in Leviticus 20 that the Bible says is worthy of death:

1. Worshipping Molech
2. Cursing your father or your mother
3. Adultery
4. Having sex with your father's wife. (The Levites practiced polygamy, so your mother and your father's wife were not necessarily the same person.)
5. Having sex with your daughter-in-law
6. Same-sex relationships
7. Marrying the mother of any of your wives
8. Bestiality. Apparently this was pretty popular back then because there are two verses about it, one for men and another for women.
9. Marrying the daughter of either your father or your mother.
10. Having sex with a menstruating woman
11. Having sex with the sister of either your mother or your father.
12. Having sex with the sisters of any of the other women in your father's harem
13. Marrying your brother's wife

I'm pretty sure we could nail Jonathan Shelley on at least one of the things in this list.
