THEY OPPOSE THE COMMISSION BECAUSE THEY ARE IMPLICATED IN THE CRIME.

We need to stop referring to R’s as cowards. They’re not. They’re boldly, brazenly and openly corrupt and complicit. Calling them cowards paints them as meek and afraid. They want absolute power and they’re telling us very clearly

Rs can't be shamed into caring about what history will say, and the idea that they're "cowards" implies they have principles they'd prefer to follow but are not solely because they fear the consequences of that. THEY OPPOSE THE COMMISSION BECAUSE THEY ARE IMPLICATED IN THE CRIME.

A commission. Let them lay out facts. Above all, let it run into 2022! Just the way they did Hillary and Benghazi.

Mitch is getting desperate asking for Senators to vote against the bill and ignore the dead Policeman’s Mother and the Capitol Police man who was in the riot.

Against the rules!

But that, along with so many cowardly Republicans not voting gave Schumer the chance to reserve the right to another vote.

Meanwhile let the voters weigh in.

Susan got her feelings hurt that Schumer did not give her enough credit. Poor, little wilting pansy.

They will do anything to protect themselves and their political future. The whole flag-waving patriotism image was always a ruse. They will never put country first, but they will play that role whenever it suits their political needs, just like the good faithful Christian family man/woman persona. They showed their true colors when they got behind a man who was the opposite of everything they'd claimed to be for decades.

If nothing else, Trump may have done us a big favor by exposing these charlatans for the corrupt political quacks that they are. He actually did something that Democrats have not been able to do. I suppose it might take a criminal to take down other criminals, though personally I think this wouldn't all have happened if Americans hadn't gotten so complacent and comfortable over the years.

Meanwhile, the country was falling apart and just being held together with tape and spit. Nothing was being fixed or improved. More people were falling into poverty, infrastructure was decaying, and inequality was growing. I think it took something really big and bad to get us back on a progressive track. Reminiscent of FDR and The New Deal in many ways.

why they wouldn't want January 6th events to be replayed again. Hell, the insurrectionists were all Republicans. And they attacked the police when they have always been known as the law and order party.

Fri May 28, 2021, 11:27 AM

We'll never get through to individuals who've exposed themselves to Plumbism. You have to accept that their brains are deficient and they will be far less likely to realize their cognitive deficiencies and trait anxiety naturally predisposes them to fixate of negative stimuli; they fear what we do not. It may be the PAHs (Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons) aka airborne lead poisoning or overexposure to aluminum oxide, from aluminum drink consumption or a combination and then some. But whatever it is, there is virtually no fixing a brain and neural system that has substituted inorganic lead for organic calcium.

What's broken may be broken forever! The best we can do for conservatives, is treat them for their illness, as a sickness and get them medical treatment and professional help.

They are complicit before, during and after the act. They knew in advance, assisted in preparing the ground for the attack, aided during the attack, helped obscure the evidence afterwards and are continuing to prepare and enact the next phase.
