It's been a long haul. I don't see many of these graphics on display anymore - the last one was on April 17th - almost a full month ago!
I take that to be good news, even though the numbers are worse than ever. At least a lot of us are getting vaccinated.
As of this evening, the vast majority of states have pulled back their mask restrictions. Mask wearing is mandatory only in New Mexico, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, and Massachusetts. Some major retailers including Walmart, Target, Home Depot, CVS, and Harris Teeter are still requiring masks in stores.
And as far as vaccinations, 47% of Americans have had at least one shot. And 36% of Americans are fully vaccinated.
