Haven't been. Was on my bucket list, but tickets and lodging rates too high for me.

at least at the areas where I hang out. The Jockey Club types keep to themselves behind their guarded doors.

I have only been to Churchill once, in the late 80's when I was assigned at Ft. Knox.
As someone who had been going to Oaklawn for years, I thought Churchill was a dump. Surely, they've renovated since then - right?
