The White House also says the president will in the morning accompany the First Lady to an appointment for a common medical procedure at an outpatient center in Washington, DC.
Because hes a good guy.

I accompanied my spouse for a common outpatient procedure yesterday (sort of - they weren't letting non-patients into the building so I sat in the courtyard and read). Yeah, the Secret Service probably could have done just as well, but it's comforting to have one's spouse on hand in case there are any complications or special instructions for aftercare.
Somehow, I can't see Donnie doing this for Ms "I Really Don't Care" - or she for him.
