Vax Discussion At Golf Course

There were 7 of us today. I'm the 2nd youngest in the whole geezer group.
Anyway, 5 of the 7 have gotten one or both injections.
Thing is, back in April ALL FIVE of them were on the "hoax", "it's just the flu", " swine flu was worse", "it's way overblown" train.
11 months later, all of them got vaccinated for an illness they didn't believe was a problem.
A lack of commitment to their (un)brilliant early analysis, I guess.

2. An encouraging development

Perhaps people are capable of unlearning what they learned when Needy Amin was afflicting our country? Certainly without his daily yammering, far less attention is wasted on what that dumbass "thinks."

3. Prevailing winds....

Barf up the same macho vomit that prevails in their close circle of friends. TrDump is likely their macho he man messiah.

Then when they get home and think about it,... being hyper-macho is secondary. Self preservation is primary. So they run out and get their Covid vaccination so they don't get tangled up in the pandemic deaths statistics.

You can't be hyper-macho if you rule your world from six feet under,... as you lay in a walnut casket enclosed in a sealed cement vault.

7. It's Not "Likely"

I know for sure that 9 of the usual 12 guys voted for "it". And, I'm one of the other 3! So, only 2 others voted for JB.
I also think that some of " rugged individualists " do exactly as told by their wives.
Kinda tears into the macho thing, too!
