I got my Johnson

and Johnson vaccine about 1.5 hours ago. I hardly felt the shot, but after getting poked and prodded for 15 days in August of last year when I had my foot amputated this was a comparative breeze.

I left the doctor's office nearly 90 minutes before I arranged for paratransit to pick me up so I decided to wheel myself home from 14 blocks away. That amazed me since I don't have much upper body strength and the end of the trip involves an uphill climb. It rained this morning so I had to wipe off some mud from the wheelchair after I dragged it up the stairs, but at least I can start thinking about getting a haircut next month.

Glad you got the shot and glad you made the trek home unscathed. I got the J&J a week ago today. It is a huge relief to have it done.

The entire process was much easier than I expected. I received an email from my physician's office on Monday night, called them to set up an appointment yesterday morning, and spent less than 15 minutes in the waiting room today.
