32. I think you nailed it - a lot of out problems whether civil or law enforcement is because of

our infatuation of guns. For almost anyone that is 50-70 they can remember a time where handguns were not something that was so pervasive in America. And we sure do not need assault rifles. Sure there would be arguments etc. But these days it seems there is so much FEAR that guns are the solution for EVERYTHING. As a 70 yo I have no desire to get a concealed carry license nor do I think that handguns are a good thing for our society. But like Capitalism, guns seem to have taken on almost a religious following-----I doubt that will ever go away and it is such a shame because it never had to be this way.
