I've been a customer of what started out as Northwest Airlines' employee credit union (now Wings Financial) for more than 20 years. The Delta credit union started out the same way, for Delta employees. When the airlines merged, the credit unions didn't, probably for a lot of reasons, but Wings expanded to include at first any airline employee, and then after merging with another local credit union, to pretty much anybody in the area. They are so much better than the big bank I had been using.

Looks like the relief $ has been deposited, but I can’t get to the activity screen.

Still can’t access my accounts.

I imagine it is getting slammed by people checking to see if their stimulus money is there. I was checking something else. It finally logged me in, but the site was very, very slow.

17. Worked there for 22 years

I worked here for 22 years. Well actually in MN it was Norwest when I started but after the merger things slowly started going down hill. While Dick Kovocevich was the head guy there things were still pretty good. Once the Wacovia merger happened things started getting really bad. Too much of their culture started to permeate the company. On a lot of fronts. From their IT perspectives to customer care. It went to shit. In a hurry.

One day I decided I could no longer work there and feel good about myself. I put in my two weeks and left uncerimoniously. After 22 years, my boss simply said make sure to turn in your security badge and laptop. That was it. I knew and worked with these people for over two decades and not even a card. I can remember having massive parties for people after leaving when they were longtimers. I didn't expect or want a party. Just maybe a conversation. Someone saying "Hey so long it was nice working with you". Nope. Nothing. It was so dysfunctional on so many levels top to bottom, so cut throat, and everything was a frantic attempt to cover the company's ass that there was no room for personal relationships. It was just sad.
