or.. "Covid arm". It happens between 7-14 days after the shot. Mine was at day 12.
They say it's about 2% of people, but I sure have heard of a lot of people who got the same reaction.
My discomfort lasted about 4 days. Treat it with cortisone cream, antihistamines and ibuprofen if you want.

ETA: I had no reaction on the second shot. In fact I had little pain. I told the nurse who did the second shot to inject it higher on my bicep muscle. I think my first one was done too low on my arm.

They had not put a bandaid on the jab site and that was probably the cause. Keep an eye on it.

The day of the shot, the area developed a slightly raised, hard lump about the size of a silver dollar and it was visibly a bit red.

Two weeks later the reddened area got a bit darker, and was suddenly warm to the touch. And itched like a son-of-a-gun!

I slathered on some extra-strength Benadryl cream (works good on summer mosquito bites), covered the entire area with a gauze patch, and it was better by the next morning.

The second shot didn't even get red, but made me fairly fatigued for almost 2 days.

it was a mild allergic reaction to the shot (covid arm) but not heeding my second shot. I have had the second shot over two weeks and didn't get it this time. I was told that because of that, they wanted to put the shot in the other arm.

It was weird. Started with itching then saw the red mark. Went away in two days. I marked it to see if it was growing.,
