On Feb 13, Sweet Thing and the Average Old Guy both tested positive.
Nothing happened for a couple of days, then, on Feb 16, after breakfast, Sweet Thing announced she felt tired and was lying down for a nap. TWELVE HOURS later she waked up long enough to eat two crackers and half a cup of chicken broth, then, back to sleep for another 12 hours.
And that's the way it was until Feb 26 when she was able to stay awake about half a day, had a horrible headache, ate very little. As time went by, she felt better and better.
Doc prescribed steroid regimen from March 8 to 15. Now she still has minor aches and pains; headache comes and goes, mostly gone. She's up and around; been to library twice, grocery once; church is still on Facebook.
The Average Old Guy experienced not a single symptom. Nothing. Probably due to my daily treatments with Dr. Jack Daniels potion.
Meanwhile, on March 10, the Average Old Guy got his first Moderna shot and a schedule for 2nd one on April 8.
And now for today, March 16:
-- We both tested NEGATIVE.
-- Sweet Thing is scheduled for her first Moderna on March 24.
-- $2,800 hit our bank account.
-- $1,200 tax refund on the way.
Our niece (daughter of Sweet Thing's sister) had double mastectomy 10 months ago, still has some medical issues. The sister and daughter are struggling, so, $2,000 of our $2,800 is going to them.
Don't know what's better -- to get good news about yourself, or, to be able to share it with others!!
Makes us want to break out in song . . .

Good day, indeed. Those checks mean a lot.
