Acworth is about 30 miles northwest of downtown Atlanta.
Atlanta police said they responded to a robbery call at the Gold Massage Spa on Piedmont Road in Atlanta.
Officers found three people dead.
At the same time, they responded to the Aroma Therapy spa directly across the street, where they found one person dead, police said.
Police said the four victims were female and appear to be Asian. They did not say whether they were employees or customers at the spas.
Atlanta police say they are in the beginning of the investigation and have not outlined a motive.

He is believed to be driving a dark four-door Hyundai Tucson with tag number RZR8983. Deputies said there was damage to the driver’s side of the vehicle.

I also weep for the "employees".

As a Private Investigator in Atlanta, where the shootings occurred, I have worked dozens of those spas. Of the many many times I have worked a case surrounding a massage parlor, never were they a legit massage. They were always fronts for prostitution. Most of the "employees" are forced and many are very close to the age of consent if not below the age. I hope this gets these places in the spotlight and shut down.

Thank you for mentioning this. When people make fun of these places as rub and tug joints and talk about happy endings I always try to remind them that this is human trafficking. These are young women and girls trafficked here and held in slavery so sick old men can use them at these massage parlors.
