Marsha Blackburn responds to Biden's "Neanderthal" comments w/ impassioned defense of Neanderthals: "Neanderthals are hunter-gatherers, they're protectors of their family, they're resilient, they're resourceful, they tend to their own. So I think Joe Biden needs to rethink [it]."

Improved radiocarbon dating published in 2015 indicates that Neanderthals disappeared around 40,000 years ago.
I guess a few slipped trough the time warp!

She must figure that they all still live here

Maybe she can come here (this is a 20 minute drive south of where I live) and go look for them. In fact, let's not let her go back to the States until she finds them.

“In retrospect, it was unfair to Neanderthals to compare them to the primitive mindset that one must have in order to think ending the mask mandates makes sense. I apologize to our Neanderthal ancestors.”

Also... I have European ancestry and about 2% Neanderthal DNA according to 23andMe, but I certainly don't identify with them!

They seemed like decent-behaving humanoids, with evidence of them lovingly burying their dead surrounded with flowers and such, but they're also LONG EXTINCT except for tiny traces of their DNA!

CNN seemed to be dwelling on Biden's use of that N-word yesterday too, which also struck me as completely ludicrous.

Since Geico has not been hiring any for their commercials. It’s truly a hard time to be a Neanderthal in todays society being replaced by a CGI Lizard.
