The attack on the Capital, like the attack on Fort Sumter was an act of war. Lincoln defended Democracy and our Constitution by declaring this as an act of war by sedition within our Democracy. The failure of the Senate to impeach Trump is tantamount to Lincoln failing to defend our Democracy. This then leaves us in an undeclared civil war with those who would seek to destroy our Democracy. What am I missing?
