I’m told that multiple witnesses near Trump and Pence were approached by the House team to provide testimony about Trump’s state of mind and the threat to Pence and no one wanted to cooperate.

Too risky to call someone cold, particularly when the case is so powerful as is.

1. They can be subpoenaed for a criminal trial though

Get the majority vote for conviction and claim victory then more forward with criminal charges

You wonder at what point, if ever, Pence would have testified against his true Lord and Savior, Trump?

If the insurrectionists had managed to grab him? Managed to tie him up and threaten him? How about got him to a noose and put his head in it?

But then again, he is just another GOP coward, so he may be even more frightened of the MAGA militia's and they'd have him truly cowed.
