(13,195 posts)The "Shaman" buffalo headdress guy is arguably the main "media star" of the whole insurrection, after Trump himself. Buffalo guy stole the show from a photo-op perspective. If we want to rub Republican noses in who they are now (and want the whole world to see it on their screens), I think the "QAnon Shaman" is a good draw. He can testify he did what he did because Trump told him to.
Just as importantly, Trump "backstabbed" the shaman and the other QAnon yahoos by not pardoning them. Republicans who don't vote to convict Trump will be voting for the guy who started the insurrection, true. And any informed American with integrity will find that disgusting and craven. But the QAnon yahoos may also take umbrage at Republicans letting Trump (the non-pardoning, hiding-in-the-White-House backstabber) off the hook.
