From what I understand, he has a special relationship with the rescue organization that gave him his second dog. My guess is he would want a cat that is comfortable being around dogs, not all cats are.

back and forth to DC. Trump (being the animal hater he was) condemned Pence for his pet saying he was low class for having a pet rabbit. The one thing I like about Pence is that pet rabbit and he didn't let Trump stop him from bringing Bundo along.👍
