Arrrrgh, kids. Stupid Republican college kids.

So I was listening to NPR while I was driving to to work this morning and ended up screaming at the radio like a crazy woman. The female reporter (name escapes me) was interviewing 5 University of Colorado students--2 Romney supporters, 1 Ron Paul supporter and 1 Obama supporter. (Insert eye roll here). Anyway, "Rachel," a Romney supporter, was blathering on and on about how Romney will fix the economy, blah blah blah until the reporter asked her whether she was concerned about GOP positions on women's issues. She sounded all puffed up, saying, "I'm a Woman's Studies major about to graduate so I've had time to think about this and I'm pro-choice but I'm more concerned about the economy blah blah blah..." She also said, get this, that the President doesn't have the constitutional authority to change the law so ending legal abortions isn't really an issue. It was at this point that I began screaming at my radio, "But, but, sister, SC Justices! And if you lose the ability to control your own fertility, it won't matter how robust the economy is, it will leave you behind as you deal with unplanned pregnancies and a houseful of kids!" Thankfully, the poor, neglected Obama supporter, also female, told "Rachel" that she was being pretty naive and that Roe v. Wade was most certainly in jeopardy because Romney will most likely appoint a conservative SC justice and Roe v. Wade would be overturned. Unfortunately, it was at this point my radio became unlistenable for about 30 seconds due to static so I don't know how she ended her comment. That NPR reporter sure gave the GOP their time this morning--the Obama supporter could hardly get a word in edgewise.

What an annoying way to start the day.
