(5,520 posts)If he doesn't pardon them, they are going to move on to a new leader. If he does, he might continue to have some influence. Maybe a great deal of influence.
I question if we can convict an ex-president on articles of impeachment passed while they were president. Nothing in the constitution says you can't. So it'll be an interesting supreme court case.
